Nancy has over twenty-five years experience in the chemical industry, with more than half in the manufacturing sector. Prior to starting her own business, Nancy worked for Lonza, Inc.; Sandoz Chemicals (now Clariant Corporation); and ABB Lummus. Nancy served on many committees and workgroups for SOCMA (Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturers Association) and The American Chemistry Council (ACC, formerly CMA -- Chemical Manufacturers Association). She also worked with ACC for three years as a Special Advisor on Responsible Care®. Nancy has a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from Manhattan College and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University. Professional development courses include Media/Crisis Communications; Internal ISO 9000 Auditing & Procedure Development; Facilitation of Employee Involvement Teams; Crosby Quality Process; Change Management; and Project Management. |
Nancy Passow, owner of Write for You in NJ, has been writing articles and presenting workshops for over thirty years. During high school and college, she wrote for the school newspapers. While working in the chemical industry, Nancy honed her writing skills with articles for in-house and professional publications. Her articles have appeared in professional journals (print and on-line), newsletters, and magazines and she has presented workshops throughout the US. Nancy is also an Adjunct Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University (Metropolitan Campus), School of Computer Science & Engineering, teaching the course "Technical Communications". | Affiliations & Organizations |
